Bio:

Running away from home to come to London may be a familiar story amongst many young Asian women but Sofia’s faith in her convictions carried her through hard times of uncertainty and confusion to rise above and become a successful young woman.

Her new album ‘The End of Me’ is built around the concept of re-birth and starting over again and the opportunity to create it came from an introduction to music producer Niraj Chag. He understood only too well Sofia’s desire to bring together Asian sounds that she was exposed to as a child with her love of rock music.

Every song on the album comes from an experience, from feeling intense loneliness at a homeless women’s refuge in South London, where she was forced to live or playfulness from her memories of fun, love and excitement that come from moving to the big city.
