Sunbathing on the small patch of grass in the school she was brought up in; Majda entertained her young friends singing all the classics of the time. It was here it was asserted Majda was going to be a star.
Majda grew up in the middle of East London with a passion for performing. Born to parents of Moroccan origin, her upbringing was deeply influenced by an eclectic mix of cultures which she continues to draw upon.
With a fascination and love for language combined with her passion for music, Majda began to write songs which reflected her feelings and experiences. As a result, Majda’s music is imbued with emotion that mirrors the striking range of human experience.
